In a meeting with the Secretary General of the Chinese Muslim Community, His Eminence congratulated the Islamic unity week and birth of the holy Prophet (S) and Imam Sadiq (AS). Meanwhile, he reiterated that there is no geographical boundaries in Islam and that Muslims and believers are brothers of one another, no matter where they are.
"The geographical boundaries do not limit the Muslims, and the Chinese Muslims are also our brothers who must preach the pure Islamic teachings and instructions among the (Chinese) people," His Eminence added.
Stressing on the need for strengthening the unity of the Islamic Ummah and vigilance in thwarting the attempts made by their enemies to create discord, he said. "Only through standing united can Muslims thwart the conspiracies of the enemy and pursue their noble goals."
His Eminence went on saying, "The world's Muslims must be in constant contact with one another so that, by dint of these communications and convergence, they could enhance Islamic dignity. Islam has certain principles which all Muslims believe in. It is necessary that Shia-Sunni unity be grounded on these principles. One of the important recommendations of the Ahlul-Bayt (AS) is to be in touch with Ahl-e Sunnah as well as to interact with them."
Grand Ayatollah Noori Hamedani (may he live long) said that the enemies of Islam must know that the enemies of Islam never want to do anything in the interest of Islam. "We must stand united and together and let not the enemies create discord among us", he stressed.
