According to the official website of Grand Ayatollah Noori Hamedani's office, His Eminence emphasized the need to enhance services and expedite the handling of judicial cases and the issuance of rulings during a meeting with Hujatoleslam Hekmat Ali Muzaffari, the head of the Administrative Justice Court, earlier today.
In the meeting, His Eminence referred to Letter 53 of Nahj al-Balagha, in which Imam Ali (peace be upon him) addressed Malik Ashtar when sending him to Egypt. He stated that Imam Ali (peace be upon him) outlined the characteristics of judges in this letter. According to the Commander of the Faithful, judges should be patient and broad-minded, incorruptible, and should execute their judgments with both precision and swiftness.
His Eminence found the current time frame for handling cases to be too lengthy, adding that the process needs to be accelerated; four months is too long. If the workload is heavy, increase the number of personnel or appoint individuals to the judiciary who can combine accuracy with speed. Imam Ali (peace be upon him) handled many judicial matters right in the mosque of Kufa.
His Eminence further stated that people and clients wish to have their cases and issues addressed as quickly as possible.
His Eminence praised the recent changes in the judiciary, stating: "We are witnessing efforts and transformations in the judiciary and we express our gratitude. We hope that the service delivery currently underway will improve even further."
It is noteworthy that at the beginning of the meeting, Hujatoleslam Hekmat Ali Muzaffari presented a report on the activities and services that have been carried out.
