In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

All praise belongs to God, Lord of the Worlds, and blessings and peace upon our Master and Prophet, Abu al-Qāsim al-Mutafa Muammad, and upon his pure and immaculate family, especially the remaining proof of God on Earth.

Greetings and salutations to this esteemed gathering;

“O you who believe! do not take the Jews and the Christians for friends; they are friends of each other; and whoever amongst you takes them for a friend, then surely he is one of them; surely Allah does not guide the unjust people.” (Surah al-Māʾidah: 51)

This noble verse clearly delineates the stance of Muslims and the Islamic community towards America and Israel, who are symbols of some Jews and Christians and the epitome of oppression and tyranny against humanity. However, in these sensitive times, more than nine months have passed since the brutal attacks of Israel on the oppressed people of Palestine and Gaza, and some Islamic countries not only fail to reconsider their relations with America, which supports Israel, but instead of helping the people of Gaza, they send food and equipment to Israel!

The world is witnessing the genocide of the oppressed people of Gaza. Thousands of innocent children have died, more than forty thousand people of the defenseless population of Gaza have been martyred, more than one hundred thousand have been injured and crippled, and around 2 million people are displaced in ruins, without drinking water or food, and meagre international aid is distributed sparingly under the supervision of the Zionists.

Where is human conscience?! Praise be to God, freedom-loving people and global public opinion have become aware of the oppression and crimes of America and Israel in Palestine. Today, the most important scientific centers and universities in Europe and America have turned into scenes of demonstrations in support of Palestinians and condemnation of Zionist crimes. However, the US-Israel relationship is a manifestation of "some are allies of others," meaning no matter how many people the Zionists kill or how many anti-human crimes they commit, the friendship between the US and Israel always remains intact. Based on this, it is the criminal America that prevents the issuance of UN Security Council resolutions to enforce a ceasefire in Gaza and continuously arms and equips the Israeli government.

What do the US and Israel want from the oppressed people of Palestine?! They have leveled the entire land of Gaza, and according to experts, they have caused explosions and destruction equivalent to the volume of four atomic bombs used in Hiroshima. The destruction of Gaza is so extensive that it may take decades to rebuild and renovate it, but they are still thirsty for the blood of these oppressed and displaced people in ruins. The whole world has seen these oppressions, and no people have been subjected to such oppression and tyranny as the people of Gaza!

The US’s oppression and crimes in the world are so enormous that even listing them in one session is not possible! From Japan to Vietnam to the deserts of Africa and North and South America, everywhere the people of the world have witnessed American bombings and the killing of thousands of people worldwide and in Islamic countries such as Iraq, Afghanistan, Yemen, North Africa, and other regions.

But today, the cry of the oppressed people of Gaza is the loudest, and we hope that God's promise, “And they who act unjustly shall know to what final place of turning they shall turn back.” (Quran 26:227), will soon be fulfilled, and the oppressors and tyrants will be punished for their criminal actions.

The oppression and tyranny of the Great Satan, America, towards the Iranian nation and the Islamic Republic have always continued in various forms. One day, with the support and arming of the callous and heartless hypocrites (Mujahedin-e Khalq), they martyred more than 17,000 of our oppressed people, and of course, in massive explosions like those of 27th of June and 29th of August, they assassinated great figures such as the oppressed martyr Ayatollah Dr. Beheshti, and the beloved President and Prime Minister, Martyrs Rajaei and Bahonar, and many great servants of this nation and country. After the escape of the hypocrites from Iran, they were supported and protected in bases in Iraq, France, and Albania, and they still serve as foot soldiers for the criminal state America.

The formation of the International Conference on American Human Rights is an opportunity to showcase America's anti-human rights behavior worldwide, and especially this year. This conference should convey the voice of the oppressed people of Palestine and Gaza.

The Supreme Leader's letter in two stages to the youth of America and Europe breathed new life into the issue of supporting the Palestinian people, and elites and thinkers should focus more on this message.

The Islamic Republic of Iran and the Muslim people of Iran, based on their religious duty to always support the oppressed and oppose the oppressor, as stated by the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him), "Be an enemy to the oppressor and a helper to the oppressed," have always been enemies of the oppressor and helpers of the oppressed. In the case of Palestine and Gaza, they have spared no effort to help them, but solving the Palestinian issue requires the help of all Muslims and Islamic countries, and we hope that the nations and Islamic governments awaken and narrow the arena for the Zionist regime and save the oppressed Palestinian people from oppression and tyranny.

We hope that God's help will soon be granted to the Muslim people of Palestine and Gaza and that the oppressors and tyrants will witness the manifestation of the Almighty's might.

In conclusion, I deem it necessary to thank all the organizers of this esteemed conference and pray to Almighty God to grant them success.

Hussein Noori Hamedani
